We take accuracy seriously. Every correction suggestion is reviewed, and lessons are fixed in a future update.
If you signed up with email and password, you can reset your password from the sign-in screen with "Forgot your password?". If you sign in with Google, we do not store or manage your Google password; use Google account recovery instead.
We love hearing what learners want. Describe the feature, how you would use it, and why it would help you learn. Not every suggestion gets built but every one gets read.
Do I need an account? No. You can use the course and trainers without one; your progress is saved on your device. Signing in lets you sync progress between devices and join the leaderboard and weekly leagues.
How do I reset my progress? There is no in-app "reset everything" button because most people ask this by accident. If you genuinely want to wipe your progress, use the Delete my account flow, then sign up again.
Why did my streak reset? Streaks need at least one XP-earning activity each day. If you miss a day the streak resets, unless you have a Streak Freeze, which protects your streak for one missed day.
Why does a trainer ask for my microphone? Some ear-training tools listen while you sing or play to check your notes. The sound is analysed on your device and is never recorded or uploaded. See the Privacy Policy.
Is there a mobile app? Yes. Study Music Theory is available for Android on Google Play and for iPhone and iPad on the App Store (as "Music Theory & Ear Training"), and on the web at studymusictheory.com.
How do I cancel a subscription? Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from. Cancel in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
